Motivation and Introduction:
When
introducing the poem, The Teacher could also provide some context and
background information on the importance of family unity and support. For
example, The Teacher could discuss the role that family plays in our lives, and
the many ways in which family members support and help each other.
Finally,
you could encourage students to think about their own families and the
important relationships they have with their family members. By doing so, you
can help students connect with the poem on a personal level and appreciate its
message of family unity and support even more.
Guided Reading:
The
Teacher reads the poem with proper stress, pause and intonation. Students
listen silently at the first time. Second time they repeat after teacher.
Assign students to read the poem either individually or in small
groups. Encourage them to take notes and to highlight any important ideas or
phrases that stand out to them.
The Teacher’s
activity:
Before explaining this poem, the teacher also explains the new
words with the help of chart. The teacher explains the lesson in simple words
through video.
The Student’s
activity:
Volunteer students to briefly explain the content explained by the
teacher in front of other students.
