Reading:
I read
prose with correct stress, pauses and intonation. Students will listen silently
the first time. The second time they will repeat after me. They study in small groups.

explaining this supplementary, the teacher also explains the new words with the
help of chart. The teacher explains the lesson in simple words through video.

Volunteer
students to briefly explain the content explained by the teacher in front of

• Mithali Dorai Raj, an Indian
cricketer and the captain of the Indian women’s cricket team in tests and one
day internationals. Mithali lives in Hyderabad. Mithali is the first player to
score 7 consecutive 50s. In fact, she is nicknamed “Tendulkar of Indian women's
cricket”
• When
she was young, she used to go with her father to the grounds where he
practiced. She used to stand outside the ground and return the ball when it
came her way. Though it was a humble start, she managed to secure a name and a
place for herself. The Government of India in recognition of her contribution
to cricket conferred on her the Padma Shri award.

as a school child, she grew up watching Kabaddi , sell flowers for daily living
, she won a gold medal in Kabaddi

Venkata Sindhu's attitude is Never-Say-die spirit” , she got silver medal in
2017 Olympics

Dorai Raj, an Indian cricketer .she is nicknamed “Tendulkar of Indian women's
cricket” The Government of India in recognition of her contribution to cricket

• Usha Rani as a school child, she grew
up watching Kabaddi at a club in front of her house and soon joined the club
and started playing Kabaddi at National level in sub junior category.
• She used to sell flowers for daily
living and she had to struggle all through her, until she got a job in the
Karnataka State Police Force. She was just 29 years old when she won a gold
medal in Kabaddi. She has also become a role model to her brothers and sisters
at home and other fellow sports persons.
• Pusarla Venkata Sindhu is on the two
Indian badminton players to ever win silver medal in 2017 Olympics. She started
playing badminton at the age of 8.
• “The
most striking feature in Sindhu’s game is her attitude and the Never-Say-die
spirit”. She has won many awards as well as cash grants for her contribution.

Remedial Teaching:
I give oral
exercises, reading exercises to late bloomers. They will use internet resource
to improve their skills.
Writing:
They follow
the teacher and write exercises. They will write book back exercises… reading
comprehension, vocabulary, listening and writing.
Follow up work:
Women or
men can achieve anything, provided they put their Heart and Soul into it.
Discuss in the class. Do you think being a man or a woman makes a difference?
