Guided
Reading:
I
read the Poem with proper stress, pause, and intonation. Students listen
silently at the first time. Second time they repeat after me. They read in
small groups.
Teacher’s
activity:
Before
explaining this poem, the teacher also explains the new words with the help of
chart. The teacher explains the poem in simple words through video.
Student’s
activity:
Volunteer students to briefly explain the content explained
by the teacher in front of other students.
Concept Map

He explained that it matters that how we stand up as a team. Either we
succeeded or defeated, it matters that how we pull our team with us. The other
people might judge you and praise you as a single, but you must pull your team
with you. And you will win at that time when you care for your fellowmen and
worked together as a team.
• The poem be a friend focuses on the importance of
friendship and the duties and responsibilities that come with being a friend.
Consolidation and Presentation: (Write in order mode)
The poem dwells on the fact that true friendship rises
above materialistic needs such as money and as such, and rather focuses on the
importance on the bond between the two friends.
• It also lays down the importance of the
responsibilities of being a friend, to forgive their mistakes and to be with them
in difficult times.

Students sit in groups and discuss
their favorite athletes and sports, discuss with your partner and list out any
five team games.
