21. Operations on Integers [முழுக்களின் மீதானசெயல்பாடுகள்]

  The four basic operations on Integers.

1.Addition  [கூட்டல்]

2.Subtraction [கழித்தல்]

3.Multiplication [பெருக்கல்]

4.Division [வகுத்தல்]

Addition

The addition of two whole numbers results in the total   amount or sum of those values combined. 

கூட்டல்

இரண்டு அல்லது அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட எண்களை ஒன்றாக்கி அதாவது ஒன்றுடன் ஒன்று கூட்டி ஒரு தொகையை அல்லது மொத்தத்தைப் பெறுகின்ற ஒரு கணிதச் செயல் ஆகும். 

"3 + 2 = 5"

"3 "கூட்டல்" 2 சமம் 5".

Subtraction

 The operation of removing objects from a collection. Subtraction is signified by the minus sign, −

கழித்தல்

 இது கூட்டலுக்கு எதிர்மாறானது.

கழித்தல் செயலானது, கழித்தல் (−) குறியினால் காட்டப்படுகின்றது. 

5 - 2 = 3

5 - 2 என்பது ஐந்திலிருந்து இரண்டைக் கழிப்பதைக் குறிக்கும்

Multiplication

The multiplication of whole numbers may be thought of as repeated addition; that is, the multiplication of two numbers is equivalent to adding as many copies of one of them, the multiplicand, as the quantity of the other one, the multiplier.

பெருக்கல்

பெருக்கப்படும் இரண்டு எண்களில் ஒன்று முழு எண்ணாக இருப்பின், அவ்வெண்களின் பெருக்கல், அம் முழு எண்ணின் எண்ணிக்கையளவு தடவை மற்ற எண்ணின் தொடர்ச்சியான கூட்டலாகும்.

 gives twelve marbles

4 × 3 = 12

Division

Division is one of the four basic operations of arithmetic, the ways that numbers are combined to make new numbers. The other operations are addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

வகுத்தல்

கணிதத்தில், வகுத்தல் என்பது, அடிப்படையான நான்கு கணிதச் செயல்முறைகளுள் ஒன்றாகும். இது பெருக்கலுக்கு எதிர்மாறானது ஆகும்.

a - வகுபடு எண்

b - வகுஎண்

c - ஈவு                   20 / 4 = 5
