 Least Common Multiples (LCM)

 The smallest common multiple of two or more numbers.

 The common multiple of lowest degree of two or more polynomials.

How to Find LCM by Listing Multiples

          List the multiples of each number until at least one of the multiples appears on all lists.

          Find the smallest number that is on all of the lists.

          This number is the LCM.

a, b ஆகிய இரண்டு எண்களின் பெருக்குத் தொகையாக அமைந்த   மிகச்சிறிய  முழு எண் ஆகும்.

இவ்வெண் பெருக்குத் தொகை   a, b ஆகிய இரண்டு எண்களும்   தனித்தனியாக இதனை மீதியின்றி வகுக்கும். 

          பின்னங்களைக் கூட்டும்பொழுதும் கழிக்கும்பொழுதும் ஒப்பிடும் பொழுதும் , அப் பின்னங்களுக்குப் பொதுவான ஒரு கீழ் எண்களைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க மீச்சிறு பொது மடங்கு (lowest common denominator) தேவைப்படுகின்றது.
