Guided Reading:

The teacher reads the Play with proper stress, pause and intonation. Students listen silently at the first time. Second time they repeat after the teacher. They read in small groups.

The Teacher’s activity:

Before explaining this Prose, the teacher also explains the new words with the help of chart. The teacher explains the drama in simple words through online resources and video.

The Student’s activity:

Volunteer students to briefly explain the content explained by the teacher in front of other students.

Consolidation and Presentation: (Write in Hints mode)

• Jack’s mom advises him to take the cow to the market and sell it carefully. On the way to the Jack, market an old man buys the cow and gives him three seeds.

• After returning home, he tells to his mother that we can make ourselves rich by magic beans seeds.

• But the mother buys the seeds and throws them out the window.

• The seed that grew into a huge beanstalk of the night and soars above the sky.

• In the morning she sees him climbing on a seed vine. Above the vine is a fortress.

• There is a giant in the castle. He ate five sheep for his meal. He asked the hen to lay me a golden egg. That hen laid a golden egg.

• Jack thinking that this hen can get rich, he takes the hen and prepares to leave.

• The troll also fell asleep because he had eaten a lot.

• He takes the chicken and goes down. Then the hen flaps its wings.

• Thus, the giant awakened. He went down fast. Jack was cutting the beanstalk.

• When the beanstalk was flung at him, it fell down. Mom asks what's going on. The hen laid golden egg every day. Mom and Jake were never poor.

 

Reinforcement:

Have a group of students sit down, write and tell a story about a giant who can do good deeds. Evaluation:

Remedial Teaching:

The teacher gives oral drills, reading practice for the slow bloomers. They use the internet source to enrich their skills.

Writing:

They write the writing practice by follow the teacher. They write fill in the blanks, write the  answers for the questions.

Follow up work:

Get to know the ghost stories in your village and the superstitious beliefs in the area and discuss them with the students in the classroom.
