Predecessor [முன்னி]

The number which comes just before a particular number is called its predecessor.

Every number has a predecessor as we can subtract 1 to any number.

Successor [தொடரி]

Successor Meaning in Maths is a number that succeeds another number or comes after the given number.

In other words, the successor of a given number is 1 more than the previous number.

Every number has a successor as we can add 1 to any number.
